PURPOSE:To decrease the number of scanner relays, and to reduce stray and take a measurement at a high speed by employing multistage constitution which includes relay contacts divided into blocks and relay contacts provided to common sides of the respective blocks. CONSTITUTION:A relay contact 5 for circuit selection and a relay contact 7 for block selection are made associatively. Similarly, both relay contacts 6 and 8 are turned on to form a measuring circuit, and then a current flows from the constant current source of a resistance measuring instrument 3, so the potential drop across a resistance 2 to be measured is led out by a differential amplifier to measure the resistance value. Consequently, there are 32 stray capacitors at common sides conventionally, but the number of stray capacitors is decreased to 16 for the common sides and by two for normally open sides, so that high resistance is measured at a high speed.
