PURPOSE:To obtain a wound iron core which is excellent in magnetic characteristics and in assembly works and is low cost in manufacture by assembling alternately turning round from left to right and vice versa the cutting position and the direction of a leg after winding a silicon steel belt spirally. CONSTITUTION:A silicon steel belt 1 is spirally wound and made to nearly a rectangular shape. Then, the center of a left leg 2A is cut aslant from the inside to the outside. A right leg 2B is also cut aslant from the outside to the inside in parallel with the above-mentioned section 9 and two iron core members 8, 8 are separated. Then, each layer of both the iron core members 8, 8 is turned round from left to right and vice versa and is inserted into a coil 4 to be assembled integrally. As a result, the joint surface of each layer is shifted in an X shape at the center of both the right and left legs 2A, 2B and is placed between the adjacent layers, i.e., a lap joint and a magnetic route is not cut and the magnetic characteristics are improved in comparison with a butt joint. |
