PURPOSE:To obtain a low-noise pulse combustion apparatus, by providing a porous plate with a space between the plate and the inner wall of a feed air conduit interior and filling up the space with acoustic material. CONSTITUTION:A porous plate 7 is provided with a space between the plate and the inner wall of a feed air conduit 5 interior, and the space is filled up with acoustic material 11. Combustion noise 12 transmitted through an air chamber 4 is absorbed by a plurality of small holes 13 bored through the surface of the porous plate 7 and is introduced into the space between the porous plate 7 and the feed air conduit 5. The space is filled up with the acoustic material 11, and so noise introduced into the space is absorbed by the acoustic material 11 between the porous plate 7 and the inner wall surface for the feed air conduit 5 and at the same time, as the result of the continuous noise impact and dispersion, the combustion noise 12 is silenced by mutual interference. |
