PURPOSE:To obtain a compact detector, by providing a turning means, which axially turns a fluid to be detected flowing in a flow path, providing a rotary body, which is turned in a vertical plane with respect to the direction of the flow, and constituting the turning means by a torsional plate, which is fixed to the flow path. CONSTITUTION:In a housing 10, a torsional plate 11, which is a turning means and axially turns a fluid to be measured, is fixed to a casing 12. A magnetic rotary ball 13, whose diameter is more smaller than the cross sectional area of a flow path, is provided at the downstream side of the torsional plate 11 so that the ball is turned in a vertical plane with respect to the flowing direction. In this constitution, when the fluid to be detected flows in, the fluid to be detected flows along the torsional plate 11. The magnetic ball 13 obtains motion from the turning flow and is turned in the direction of an arrow 22. The number of turns of the magnetic ball 13 is extracted as the resistance change in a magnetic resistor element 17, i.e., the voltage change, and the change is measured through a control circuit. Thus the detector can be made compact. |
