PURPOSE:To omit manual working and to eliminate individual difference in the title inspection, by providing a detecting means, which detects the feeding load of a gage rod when the load exceeds a specified value, stops the insertion of the gage rods, and determines the clogging of the hole. CONSTITUTION:An inspecting device is provided with a clogged-hole detecting jig 10 and a gage rod 11, whose upper part is fixed to the axial center of the cylindrical clogged-hole detecting jig 10. The tip of a centering guide 5 is pushed into a metal mothpiece 2a by the action of a spring 7 and centering is performed. Then a gage-rod pushing plate 13 is lowered and the gage rod 11 is inserted into a high pressure hose 1 through the centering guide 5. Then the bore- hole insertion inspection is performed. At this time, a conical groove 15 of the centering guide 5 is closely contacted with a sheet surface 14 of the metal mouthpiece 2a. Thus the centering of the metal mouthpiece 2a and the gage rod 11 can be performed automaically. Manual working can be omitted and the individual difference in inspection operation can be eliminated.
