PURPOSE:To prevent the damage of an insulating film, by laminating and forming strain gage resistor parts, lead parts, correcting parts and the like on the insulating film by using metallic thin films, and coating the metallic thin films by a protecting film, which can readily absorb laser light rays. CONSTITUTION:For example, four strain gage resistance parts 13 and bridge balance correcting parts 14, which are made of metallic thin films having the thickness of about 0.1mum are formed. Correcting parts 15 and 16 comprising metallic thin films 9 having the thickness of about 10mum are formed. Lead parts 17 comprising metallic thin films 10 having the thickness of about 10mum are formed. In this constitution, the correcting parts 15 and 16 are cut with a laser light beam as required and the resistance value is adjusted. At this time, a protecting film 11 is partially cut in correspondence with the cut parts of the correcting parts 15 and 16. At this time, the insulating film 7 is not damaged by the wrong amount of feeding of a cutting blade as seen in mechanical machining. Thus the trimming work can be performed very easily.
