JAMMING DETECTOR FOR ELECTROSTATIC RECORDER

摘要

PURPOSE:To achieve the smaller size of an equipment by arranging a detector facing the surface of a photosensitive drum at a specified angle to miniaturize the detector itself. CONSTITUTION:A jamming detector 5' is arranged at the angle theta in the light emitting direction to the normal N of a photosensitive drum 2 while a light emitting section 5'a and a light receiving section 5'b at an equal distance from the surface of the drum. Thus, in case of jamming, a reflected light from a recording paper is incident into the light receiving section 5'b by a scattering reflection thereon to detect the jamming. In normal operation, light from the light emitting section 5'a will not be incident to the light receiving section 5'b after reflection.
