PURPOSE:To enable efficient inspection by providing individual chambers for arranging many small-diameter samples within the same scanning plane. CONSTITUTION:A sample supporter 5 is constituted of a body 1, a cover 2, cover set-screws 3 and partition plates 4 and the inside of the body 1 is divided to small chambers by the plate 4. The broken line aa' of the figure (A) shows the scanning surface and the figure (C) shows the section of the body of the broken line aa' plane. Each part is made of PE or acryl which allows transmission of X-rays. When small-diameter samples are inserted into the quadrisected chambers, the sectional images of the four small-dimeter samples are obtd. by one scanning. The attenuating quantity of the X-rays is made approximate to the scanning conditions for the ordinary human body by gathering the small-diameter samples and scanning the same. |
