PURPOSE:To obtain a fine picture by shifting a vertical synchronization repetitive period at each one vertical period by nearly 1/4 period of a horizontal signal period. CONSTITUTION:An input vertical synchronizing signal (a) of a simple type synchronizing signal generator B is given to a 1/4 horizontal period delay circuit 1 and its output (b) is inputted to a switching circuit 2 and an astable multivibrator 3. Since the multivibrator 3 is triggered by the signal (b) of the delay circuit 1, an output signal (c) is generated and inputted to the switching circuit 2. The switching circuit 2 is connected to the output side of the signal (b) from the 1/4 horizontal period delay circuit 1 only when the outut waveform is at H and to the input signal side when L state. Thus, the vertical synchronizing signal and the vertical synchronizing signal subject to delay by 1/4 horizontal period are outputted alternately at each one vertical period.
