PURPOSE:To attain miniaturization of the entire player and cost reduction by connecting directly a moving member of a container storing a disc and a support member of a clamp mechanism. CONSTITUTION:The tray 10 and the moving members 13, 14 constitute a disc storage section. A plate form support member 51 positioned above the container 22 has four pins 51a and the support member 51 is supported by engaging the pins 51a freely slidably to an oblong hole 10g of the tray 10. The pins 51a are engaged freely slidably to cam holes 13g, 14g of the moving members 13, 14. The pin 51a is slided along cam holes 13g, 14g through the backward movement of the moving members 13, 14, and the pressing member 52 approaches the disc together with the support member 51 so as to clamp the disc.
