PURPOSE:To prevent short-circuit and disconnection of wire and forming a contact hole easily and securely by coating the surface of a lead line with an insulating film of insulating electrodeposition paint by electrodeposition. CONSTITUTION:The insulating film 7 is formed by electrodeposition while a conductive pin 6 provided with an insulating coat 5 except at the tip part is brought into contact with the connection terminal part 4 of the lead line 2. The number and positions of conductive pins 6 are the same as those of a display driving IC and the conductive pin 6 after the electrodeposition is only removed to obtain the contact hole 4. The insulating electrodeposition paint uses liquid obtained by neutralizing a water-soluble resin which has a carboxyl group at a terminal, such as maleate oil and its derivative, epoxy resin ester, alkyd resin, and acrylic resin, with ammonia or amine. Thus, the electrodeposited insulating film 7 is washed and then heated to cure, thereby coating the surface with the insulating film with extremely high reliability. |
