PURPOSE:To attain multi-function and high performance of a VTR by providing a comparatively inexpensive frame memory comprising a turning body turned at a constant speed in the frame period of a developing signal, a magnetic recording disc and a fixed head. CONSTITUTION:A rotary cylinder 1 is driven at a constant speed in a period the same as the frame period of a video signal by a motor 2 subjected to drive control. Thus, the magnetic recording disc 3 loaded to the rotary cylinder 1 is driven at a constant speed in a period the same as the frame period of the video signal. A recording signal for one frame's share is recorded on a recording track 8 for one circumference's share on the magnetic recording disc 3 turned in the frame period by applying a recording signal current for one frame's share to the fixed head 5 from a recording and reproducing circuit 7 at the recording of the VTR. The recorded signal is extracted continuously in the frame period from the fixed head 5 at the reproduction of the VTR and the video signal for one frame's share is reproduced continuously by processing the recorded signal at the recording and reproducing circuit 7. |
