PURPOSE:To enable an operating lever to be smoothly operated not to generate a force for wrenching the operating lever with the operating force at the time of lifting a wick and to enable the operating stroke to be shortened, by arranging the operating lever in the front and rear direction and by providing a wick lifting arm between a wick controlling shaft and a lateral line in the right and left direction through the center of a wick holder. CONSTITUTION:An operating lever 47 cuts the front face 1A of a fuel tank 1 almost at right angles, and so an operating knob 47A can be fixed to the front end of the operating lever 47. Therefore, a force for wrenching the operating lever 47 with the operating force at the time of lifting a wick is not generated, and so the operating lever 47 can be smoothly rotated. And a wick lifting arm 8 is provided between a wick controlling shaft 7 and a lateral line CL through the center of a wick holder 4, and so even if the vertical stroke of the knob 47A is short, the wick holder 4 can be sufficiently lifted by the amplification of the wick lifting arm 8 and the operating lever 47 may be also shortened. As the result, each component can be minituarized, and so the whole wick lifting gear can be minituarized on an economical basis. |
