PURPOSE:To allow at least one station to carry on transmission by deciding on the occurrence of a collision when one of biphase signals is detected on a transmission line during the transmission of a header part, and stopping the following transmission of the header part. CONSTITUTION:When stations A and B start transmitting ''0, 1, 01...'' and ''0, 1, 1...'' at the same time, starting two bits of data on a bus 21 are sent correctly. The starting part (''0'' 10a) from the station A, however, is on the bus 21 at the 3rd bit, so both stations receive a voltage -E. Therefore, a transmitted and a received signal coincide with each other at the station A, but the station B does not obtain the coincidence and detects a collision. Consequently, the station B supplies an ''H'' level from a collision detecting circuit 34 to a control circuit 35 and a transmission enable signal TXEN is ceased to stop the transmission, so that only the station A carries on the transmission. |
