The subject of the present invention is a connection for a pipe for transporting fluid. According to the invention, this connection is composed of two connection elements 1 and 2 which are identical and fixed to the end of the pipes to be connected together, the connecting elements each having a sleeve 3 over which the section pipe T is fitted and a head 4 axially extending the said sleeve, the head of one connecting element interacts with the head of the other connecting element for making the junction between the two sections of pipe. On one side of the meridian plane, the head comprises a concave surface, and on the other side, the head comprises a convex surface only, so that upon assembly, the concave surface of one of the connecting elements comes to cover the convex surface of the other. The surfaces are axially offset with respect to one another. So long as the connection elements are positioned together, at least two locking members per connecting element interact in order to provide locking. The locking elements are diametrically opposed and of the clip-in type for example. Application: for example producing ventilation pipes for mine shafts. <IMAGE>
