PURPOSE:To level stably and surely a clad material by leveling it with the combination rolls consisting of a hard roll having a projected or a recessed surface in the direction of its rotating axis and a soft roll having a flat surface in the direction of its rotating axis, and leveler. CONSTITUTION:A clad material 1 is passed through the combination roll 4 consisting of a hard roll 5 of steel material, etc., having a projected or a recessed surface in the direction of its rotating axis, and a soft roll 6 of rubber material, etc., having a flat surface in the direction of its rotating axis. Next, the material 1 is passed through a leveler 8 consisting of several of upper and lower rolls, to surely level the material 1 into a flat sheet, which is wound up by a winding device 9. |
