There is applied to the base of an attractive handle 1, which may represent a living creature in stylised form, for example a doll, a flat-based 7 image holder 5, and a receptacle 11 with elastic side walls 15 and a flat base 13 containing the inking pad is mounted on the said holder 5. The image itself 9 carries writing, pictures or the like and is attached to the holder 5 by various means such as a glue-type adhesive or physical interconnection by virtue of a slight channel defining a circular depression on the flat base 7 of the holder 5, the depth of which is approximately equal to the thickness of the rubber forming the image 9; the said mechanical interconnection forms a means of rapid interchangeability of the image 9. <IMAGE>
