PURPOSE:To make it possible to automatically assemble a double-bottomed block, by forming a plurality of intermediate double-bottomed blocks with the use of an inner bottom plate composed of a predetermined width floor plate and longitudinal members arranged above and below the floor plate, which are attached to a guarder, and an outer plate, and as well by connecting the blocks together. CONSTITUTION:An inner bottom plate 2 composed of a predetermined width floor plate 6 is attached to a guarder 5, and longitudinal members 3 arranged above the floor plate 6, having the same width as that of the floor plate 6, and also attached to the guarder 5, is jointed to an outer plate 1 so that an intermediate double-bottomed block D is formed as an opened block D. The above- mentioned joint step may be made with the use of an automatic welder since the intermediate double-bottomed joint has an opened block shape. Further, a plurality of the thus formed intermediate blocks D are jointed together by means of th guarders 5 to assemble a double-bottomed block. At this time an automatic welder may be used. As a whole, the automatic assembly with the use of automatic welders may be made in order to fabricate the double-bottomed block.
