PURPOSE:To improve the removing capability of foreign matters adhering to a reproducing stylus, by providing a wiping member, with which the reproducing stylus is pressure-contacted for a fixed section during the period when a box body moves from the waiting position to a disk and moving the wiping member in the direction normal to the moving direction of the reproducing stylus in connection with the movement of the stylus. CONSTITUTION:When a reproducing stylus 5 passes over a wiping member 6 during the period when a box body 3 moves from the waiting position to a disk 1, a magnet 9 fitted to one end of a cantilver 7 together with another magnet 18 on a base 14 lowers the reproducing stylus 5 and pressure-contacts the stylus 5 with the wiping member 6. The wiping member 6 is provided on a swinging supporting body 12 which is engaged with a corrugated cam 15 including a rod 15b tied with the box body 3 and, while the reproducing stylus 5 moved between the waiting position and the disk 1, the member 6 makes reciprocating movement not only in the moving direction (direction b) of the stylus itself but also in the sliding direction (direction c) of the stylus 5 on the disk 1 and performs cleaning operations of the stylus 5. |
