PURPOSE:To form a photosensitive body stable against heat and light, superior in carrier generating ability as well as carrier transfer ability by incorporating a trisazo compd. represented by formula I in a carrier generating phase and a carbazole deriv. represented by formula II in a carrier transfer phase. CONSTITUTION:The trisazo compd. represented by formula I is used as a photoconductor for constituting a photosensitive body to markedly enhance characteristics, such as electrostatic charge retentivity, sensitivity, and residual potential, and further to form a photosensitive body having low deterioration due to fatigue in repeated uses, and sufficient sensitivity even in a long wavelength region, especially, >=780nm. Further, various characteristics as the photosensitive body, such as charge transfer ability and photosensitivity, can be improved by using said trisazo compd. as CGN in combination with the carbazole deriv. as CTM. |
