PURPOSE:To form a photosensitive body stable against heat and light, superior in carrier generating ability as well as carrier transfer ability by incorporating a trisazo compd. represented by formula I in a carrier generating phase and a hydrazone compd. represented by formula II in a carrier transfer phase. CONSTITUTION:The trisazo compd. having an asymmetric structure and represented by formula I can serve as the effective component (CGM). A hydrazone compd. represented by formula II is used as a CTM in combination with said trisazo compd. as the CGM. The hydrazone compd. is good in transfer performance of photocarriers, especially, positive holes, and when a conductive substrate-a carrier generating layer-a carrier transfer layer are laminated in this order to form a photosensitive body, and its surface is especially negatively charged and exposed, positive holes generated in the carrier generating layer are injected into the carrier transfer layer, and effectively transferred to the surface. An electrostatic charge image good in contrast with the unexposed parts can be formed by selective neutralization of the surface charge. |
