PURPOSE:To form an optical control element which has no special restriction in an incident form, etc. of an incident light, and also is excellent in its stability and durability by making a granule exist in a liquid by using titled elements in which at least one has a light absorptive property, moving the granule by changing partially a temperature of the liquid, and making a luminous flex incident on a moving path of the granule. CONSTITUTION:A luminous flux I1 which is made incident on a liquid layer 2 from the side of a light transmitting property protecting plate 1 is absorbed completely by a black light absorptive property liquid layer 2, in case a granule 3 is positioned in the vicinity of a heating resistor 6a, and it is not emitted to the outside. Subsequently, when an impressed voltage of the heating resistor 6a is lowered and an impressed voltage of a heating resistor 6b is raised, the granule 3 moves in the direction as indicated with an arrow in the liquid layer 2, and held in the vicinity of the heating resistor 6b. In this case, the incident luminous flux I1 is made incident on the liquid layer 2 once from the light transmitting property protecting plate 1, but it advances by a short distance in which a light is scarcely attenuated, and thereafter, it is made incident on the transparent granule 3. Subsequently, the light is made incident on the liquid layer 2 again from the granule 3, scarcely attenuated and passes through a heating resistor layer 4 and a light transmitting property substrate 5, and it is emitted to the outside. |
