PURPOSE:To enhance wet-resistance, skid performance, rolling resistance, wear resistance, and traveling performance of a tire on a snow/ice-covered road, by u sing a rubber composite, which is compounded with special carbon black, as a tread. CONSTITUTION:As a diene-family rubber, which forms a rubber composite used for the tread of a pneumatic tire, one or more kinds of diene-family rubber, whose styrene component is 0-30% and vinyl-combination in the butadiene part is 25-95%, is used. Next, the amount of the compounded butyl-rubber and butyl- rubber halogenide is set at a range of 3-30pts.wt. And the rubber composite is compounded with carbon black, whose property is (1A)70mg/g or greater and (DBP) oil absorption 90ml/100g or greater, by the amount of 30-80pts.wt. In order to enhance the ground surface gripping performance on a snow/ice covered road and to lower the rolling resistance, it is desired that the rubber composite is compounded further with ester-family plasticizer and/or naphthene-family, paraphine-family softener. |
