PURPOSE:To facilitate maintenance and improve transport efficiency by stretching a belt having fin-like ribs erected thereon in such a manner that as the belt rises, the angle of curvature of the belt is expanded, and disposing a belt cleaner at a discharge portion. CONSTITUTION:While granular powder is conveyed by a conveyer belt 6, the trough angle theta gradually changes in an inclined conveyer frame 5, and the trough angle theta is maximum at a segment A in a segment extending from A-F in the drawing, so that a transported article is covered with fin-like ribs 18, 17. As the article comes near the segment F, the trough theta decreases so that the article is uncovered. The ribs 17, 18 are completely opened at a horizontal conveyer 3 to prepare for discharge at a discharge portion, and granular powder is scraped off by a belt cleaner not shown. This arrangement can facilitate repairs and maintenance and improve transport efficiency. |
