PURPOSE:To attain two-way transmission without using a means such as another cable or a head end device by isolating any one of two terminals connected to a cable without fail in seeing from a branch terminal. CONSTITUTION:Branch units 30, 40 have directivity and insertion loss LPASdB, branch loss LBRCdB, and inverse coupling loss LINVdB exist between an input terminal 4, and an output terminal 6, between the input terminal 4 and a branch terminal 5 and between the branch terminal 5 and an output terminal 6, respectively. When the contact of a (LINV>LBRC) coaxial relay 50 is connected to a terminal 51, the loss between the 1st I/O terminal 60 and a branch terminal 80 goes to LBRC+LRLY (dB), the loss between the branch terminal 80 and the I/O terminal 70 goes to LRLY+LPAS (dB) and a signal can be transmitted from the branch terminal 80 to the 1st I/O terminal 60. When the contact of the relay 50 is connected to a terminal 52, a signal can be transmitted from the branch terminal 80 to the 2nd I/O terminal 70.
