PURPOSE:To make the operation of a wheel brake for parking ever so light, by installing an actuator being operated on power, in an interlocking mechanism connecting a parking lever to the wheel brake. CONSTITUTION:A rear-wheel brake Br and a parking brake lever 1 are coupled together via an interlocking mechanism 2. In this interlocking mechanism 2, there is provided with a hydraulic cylinder 7 alongside. And, a central processing unit controls a normally closed inlet valve 12i and a normally opened outlet vavle 12o for their opening or closing on the basis of each signal out of an ignition sensor S1, an accelerator sensor S2, a select sensor S3, a speed sensor S4, a parking sensor S5 and a brake sensor S6. In consequence, the rear-wheel brake Br is automatically operated for parking use. And, with the parking brake lever 1 operated, the rear-wheel brake is manually operated via a cylinder body 8 and an equalizer lever 6. |
