PURPOSE:To prevent an optical cable core from being damaged in case of executing its connection by connecting the optical cable core by drawing it out to the outside of a protective sleeve, and also dividing the protective sleeve into three parts. CONSTITUTION:In a state that an intermediate sleeve 13 is drawn back and positioned to the right side of an electric cable core connecting part 7, an optical cable core 9a of the left cable is drawn out to the outside of the intermediate sleeve 13 through a leading-out tube 31a. According to this method, a distance between the end of a housing 3a and the end of the leading-out tube 31a can be taken large, therefore, the optical cable core 9a can be drawn out to the outside of the intermediate sleeve 13 without bending it forcibly. An optical cable core 9b of the right cable is made to pass through a leading-out tube 31b and drawn out to the outside of the intermediate sleeve 13. Subsequently, the intermediate sleeve 13 is positioned in the center, and a left sleeve 15 and a right sleeve 17 are drawn back and connected airtightly. Also, the left end of the sleeve is connected airtightly to the housing, the optical cable core 9a and 9b are connected, and thereafter, a protective cover is placed on them. |
