PURPOSE:To make both driving and supporting mechanisms suitable for tool length performable as well as to aim at simplification in their structures, by operating two shafts with an independent servomotor in a synchronous manner in time of machining a work necessitating a long tool in an axial direction, which using a device for single operation in time of sufficing one side shaft alone. CONSTITUTION:With an incremental value outputted out of a numerical control system 10, contents Xa-Za of a present position memory range are added or subtracted according to a travel direction at each time distributing pulses XP-ZP are generated and contents Xm-Zm of a residual travel memory range is subtracted as far as -1. Here, the pulse XP is inputted into a synchronous controller 12, driving a servomotor 15 and ditecting shaft displacement information of the motor 15 with a position detector 14, and is reset to the controller 12. Securing a speed of rotation of the motor 15, this rotation is amplified, driving a motor 17, and the speed of rotation of both motors are synchronized. In addition, the shaft displacement information of the motor 17 is reset to the controller 12 by a detector 18, forming a speed control loop. And, two shafts 3 and 3' driving driving a long cutter 2 in cutter length are attached to each spindle of these motors 15 and 17 whereby a select mechanism is changed over in time of one-side shaft driving. |
