PURPOSE:To chuck a tilted face bar for conveyance as well as to make it attachable to a structural body so easily, by installing a chuck mechanism, which is rotatably supported on a carriage and chucks an upper end of the face bar for slinging, and a tilting mechanism which tilts the slung face bar. CONSTITUTION:Moving a carriage 10, a wall member 3 is inserted into space between frames at both sides, making a frame 17 go down, then an upper end of the wall member 3 is inserted into space between keep jaws 24 and 25 of a chuck mechanism 20, and the jaw 25 is moved toward the jaw 24, thus the upper end of the wall member 3 is chucked. Next, the frame 17 is made go up, lifting the wall member 3 upward and moving the carriage 10 horizontally, and the wall member 3 is conveyed up to a housing unit 50 of an assembling line. Then, the wall member 3 is pressed by a pressing member 36 of a tilting mechanism 30, tilting the wall member 3 together with the chuck mechanism 20, whereby a lower setting piece 2b of a stud 2 is mounted on an upper plate part 53a and temporarily locked. Next, the wall member 3 is set free from the chucking, separating the chuck mechanism 20 from the wall member 3 and pressing the wall member 3 by the pressing member 36, and the upper setting piece 2a and the lower plate part 52a are superposed and completely coupled together. |
