PURPOSE:To dispense with a seal structure between a pump house and an oil passage as well as to bring a kickback sensation to nothing, by performing the pumping action of a plunger type hydraulic pump for a brake antilock device with spring force. CONSTITUTION:An eccentric cam 39 rotates together with a driving shaft 36 and since a pump plunger 46 of a hydraulic pump P comes into contact with this eccentric cam 39 by means of resilient force of a spring 65, the pump plunger 46 performs its reciprocating motion. In time of outgoing motion, a suction valve 61 is opened, and hydraulic fluid inside a suction oil chamber 53 is pumped up into a pump house 50 through a suction port 54. In time of return motion, the suction valve 61 is closed, compressing hydraulic fluid inside the pump house 50, and a discharge stroke to feed it to an oil chamber of a modulator takes place through a discharge port 67. Thus, a pumping action is carried out with spring force so that the hydraulic pump side is completely intercepted from the master cylinder side and, what is more, a seal structure between the brake oil passage and the pump house is dispensable. |
