The double satellite comprises internal teeth 5a and external teeth 5b interacting with one of the sets of external teeth 8a of the fixed flange 1 and the other with the internal teeth 9a of the movable flange 9 then a circular cut-out 1b of the fixed flange 1 serves both as a centring path for the double satellite 5 and for a central oval ring 13; a ball bearing 12 is interposed between the movable flange 9 and a ring crimped between the movable flange 9 and the fixed flange 1; roller bearings 15, 16 are interposed between the circular cut-out 19, the oval central ring 13 and a needle cage 17 acting as a resting member for the double satellite 5 relative to the cam 4; both the outside of the fixed flange 1 and the outside of the movable flange 9 comprise various members allowing easy fastening of the seat cushion frame and of the backrest of the seat on the mechanism of the articulation; the central main portion 3 comprises at its centre a smooth bearing intended to receive the control member of the articulation mechanism of the seat in question. <IMAGE>
