PURPOSE:To improve assembling work efficiency and avoid generation of internal short-circuit by wrapping the lower end portion of negative metal plate with a separator and deforming it into cylindrical shape together with the separator with the negative metal plate placed inside. CONSTITUTION:The lower end 50a of separator 50 extruded toward the lower end 40a of negative metal plate 40 is bent upward, wrapping the lower end 40a of negative metal plate 40. In the area of separator 40 extruded to both sides of negative metal plate 40, two sheets of separators stacked by bending are heated and fused for bonding. With the negative metal plate 40 placed inside, these are cylindrically wound together with the separator 50. A slit 43 is formed in both sides of negative metal plate 40. The separator 50 extruded to both sides of negative metal plate 40 is bent toward inside of cylindrical portion from the slit 43. The cylindrical positive electrode is placed within a metal case and a cylindrical material is inserted to the hole of cylindrical positive electrode. |
