Device for protecting rooms against attack and the taking of hostages. It consists of doors which have a device by means of which the rear door is closed or locked automatically after entry into a room, whilst the door located in front of the person opens; furthermore, of a lock which is located in front of or behind the door and the rotary part of which blocks the passage during the opening of the entrance and can be opened only with a mechanical or electronic switching means (which must, however, be recognised). As maximum protection, there is provided for the lock a device which is related to the weight of a person and which receives and records the weight of the person entering into the lock and transmits it to the passage plate. If this weight is correct, the person can cause the rotation of the inner cylinder of the lock which opens the passage to the actual entrance door. This entrance door two can be opened only with a special actuating means, for example a numerical lock or an electrical pulse transmitter.
