<p>A cassette (26) for use with a cash dispensing machine (10) having a picker assembly (14) including first (22) and second pickers (24) for picking banknotes from the cassette (26) when the cassette (26) is positioned in operative engagement with the cash dispensing machine (10). The cassette (26) is arranged to receive a stack (46) of banknotes and includes first (100, 120) and second resilient pushers (102, 114) that are aligned with the first (22) and second pickers (24) to move the stack (46) of banknotes towards the dispensing end of the cassette (26). Each of the first (100, 120) and second resilient pushers (102, 114) includes a ball (118) and socket (116, 112) joint which enable the pushers to conform to the rear end of the stack (46) and thereby obviate a current "wedging" problem associated with cassettes (26).</p> |
