PURPOSE:To improve the response performance and stability of idle revolution speed control by setting a learned correction amount by learning the stationary deviation amount of a revolution speed feedback correction amount and correcting the fundamental control amount on the basis of the learned correction amount. CONSTITUTION:The standard control value for the duty ratio of a pulse signal is set by a fundamental control value setting means A on the basis of the water temperature, and a feedback correction amount is set by a feedback correction-amount setting means B on the basis of the aimed number of revolution and the actual number of revolution dependent on the water temperature. The learned correction amount is searched according to the water temperature from a learned correction amount map C by a learned correction amount searching means D. When the absolute value of the deviation of the number of revolution is within a prescribed value, the learned correction amount is corrected by adding the deviation value from the standard value of the above-described feedback correction amount by a prescribed rate by a correcting means G, and then said corrected deviarion value is sent with the outputs of setting means A and B into a control-value calculating means E, and an idle control valve is controlled by the obtained control pulse signals.
