Apparatus for introducing dosed quantities of a powdered material into a pneumatically displaced fluidized bed comprising a casing which is in principle cylindrical and is connected to a pressure fluid source and is provided with a first side opening in connection with powdered material stock, wherein an overpressure prevails with respect to the pressure of the moving fluidized bed, the casing containing coaxial box bodies of which at least one is movable about its longitudinal axis and being to this effect in connection with a corresponding drive device; each of the box bodies is provided with a pressure opening in the region of the side opening of the casing so that the passage openings may be covered or uncovered more or less simultaneously by a rotation of the moving box body and thus define a more or less large passage between the powdered material stock and the inside of the casing; the casing is provided with a second side opening diametrically opposite to the first opening, each of the box bodies having in the zone of said opening a second passage hole; a base portion of the box body which is opposite to the drive device of the moving box part is closed by a clamp part having a cylindrical portion extending axially in the inner box portion and provided with a transverse channel depression, axially aligned with both side openings of the casing and connected to the pressure fluid source.
