PURPOSE:To easily degauss a parts which are readily magnetized, such as open- reel type magnetic head, capstan, etc., through simple operations, by projecting a degaussing head from a case by using a spring member. CONSTITUTION:A degaussing head section 4 is provided at the magnetic inserting part 5 of the case 1 of a cassette type degausser and a degaussing head 44 is put in the case 1. A coil spring 15, stopper 16, and pushing-up plate 17 are provided at the rear section of, in front of, and below the head section 4, respectively. When an operating section 48 is pushed down and slid forward, the case section 4 is projected from the case 1. Therefore, degaussing operations are performed by rotating and detaining the projected head section 4 to the front face of the case 1. When the head section 4 is to be contained in the case 1, the operations are performed reversely. Therefore, degaussing of parts which are readily magnetized, such as open-reel type magnetic head, capstan, etc., can be performed easily through simple operations. |
