PURPOSE:To secure the SN of a magnetic recording and reproducing device and to reduce the Moire, by installing the 1st high frequency emphasizing circuit for magnetic system and the 2nd high frequency emphasizing circuit for electric system to a recording system and selecting one of outputs of the corresponding 1st and 2nd high frequency attenuating circuits in accordance with the recording and reproducing modes at a reproducing system. CONSTITUTION:A video signal inputted from a video signal input terminal 1 is inputted in a signal processing circuit 2 and outputted to an E-E output terminal 6 through a modulator 22 after its high frequency component is intensified at a pre-emphasis circuit 21. At the time of recording, a switch 5 is closed and the video signal is sent to a recording head 9 through another modulator 20 after its high frequency component is intensified at another pre-emphasis circuit 19. A signal detected by a reproducing head 10 is inputted in a signal processing circuit 12 and, at the time of V-V, switches 13 and 25 are closed to (a) side and the output of a demodulator 15 is outputted to a video output terminal 18 after its high frequency component is attenuated at a de-emphasis circuit 23. At the time of E-E, the switches 13 and 25 are closed to (b) side and the output is outputted to the terminal 18 after its high frequency component is attenuated at another de-emphasis circuit 24. Therefore, the SN ratio can be secured and, as a result, the Moire can be reduced. |
