Device for operating the stop lights whenever the driver slows down without braking. In such a case the stop lights (5) are powered by a second circuit (10) which is controlled by a sensor (11). Said sensor can be of the depression type and connected to the air suction manifold of the engine. The stop lights are turned on with two different intensities according to whether the driver is braking or only slowing down. On the other hand, the device controls the closing of the alternator excitation circuit (19) so as to save petrol by charging the battery only when it is indispensable or when slowing down. Said device may also be used for controllling the braking of a trailer. |
