A machine for producing Venetian blinds has a punching station with at least two groups of punching tools 14 for punching drawstring holes in at least two consecutive Venetian blind slats on the free end part of a metal band 6 fed into the machine. After this punching station, there is a combined assembly and cutting station which comprises at least a corresponding number of cutting punches 17 for simultaneously cutting off Venetian blind slats for the same number of simultaneously produced Venetian blinds. The Venetian blind production machine is based on the idea that the advance of the metal band 6 along the machine chassis 2 of the machine is to take place in continuous time periods which are as long as possible with a minimum number of acceleration and braking cycles during Venetian blind production. In comparison with known Venetian blind production machines, the machine time for production of Venetian blinds can be reduced considerably with this machine. <IMAGE> |
