PURPOSE:To obtain a magnetic resistance element in which metal sheet sticked on the surface for mechanical protection will not swell while using, by a method wherein the thermal expansion coefficient of a metal sheet is coincided to the thermal expansion coefficient of magnetic resistance element. CONSTITUTION:A base plate 2a is made from borosillcate glass of a magnetic resistor element, and a resistor body 2b is made from permalloy film which is formed on the glass base plate 2a by deposition etc., and electric resistance changes according to the existence of magnetic field. The whole magnetic resistance elements are mounted on an element attaching base plate 3. Furthermore, a protecting plate 4 is made from a molybdenum film of about 10mum thickness. Flexible cables 5 connect magnetic resistance elements 2 to the power source or to a resistance measuring device. By using magnetic resistance elements like these, the swell of the metal sheet for protection will not generates for a long term, and magnetic resistance elements can be used for a long time stably. |
