<p>Individual salvage device designed to be worn around the waist of a person. Said device comprises a floppy pocket (3b, 3c) which can be controllably inflated with a pressurized gas in order to provide a floatability volume. The pressurized gas is contained in a sealed hollow conduit (1) adapted for acting as a belt, said conduit being provided with a section capable of withstanding the gas pressure. Fastening members (18) are associated with the inflatable pocket to place it either in a folded-back position against the hollow conduit (1) or in a position spaced apart from the hollow conduit, so as to form a loop passing behind the user's neck.</p> |
