PURPOSE:To improve the response in fuel feeding in transient state by allowing a suction control valve installed into one of two suction passages fro each cylinder to be opened independently of the engine revolution speed when the cooling water temperature is low, thus reducing the adhesion of fuel onto the suction passages. CONSTITUTION:In an internal-combustion engine, a suction passage 1 consisting of two suction passages 1a and 1b is formed for each cylinder, and an intake control valve 2 installed into one suction passage 1b is controlled through an actuator by a computer 18. Into the computer 18, each output signal of a speed sensor 24, water-temperature sensor 26, and a cat-speed sensor 28, etc. is input, and te computer 18 controls so that the suction control valve 2 is closed in low or medium-speed revolution of the engine and is opened in high-speed revolution. When the cooling-water temperature is below a prescribed threshold value, the suction control valve 2 is controlled to be opened independently of the engine revolution speed. |
