PURPOSE:To attain ease of reading of a level by allowing an attenuator to change over the attenuation by a step nearly a half of the difference between a maximum value and a minimum value possible for display, in a level measuring equipment adding a display value of an intrument and the attenuation of the attenuator to calculate the measuring level. CONSTITUTION:A channel selection channel is set to, e.g., BS-11, the attenuator 9 is set to the maximum attenuation and a BS converter 14 and the level measuring equipment 1 are connected by a coaxial cable 19. Then the horizontal direction of an antenna is matched to a rough direction of a satellite and the attenuation of the attenuator 9 is decreased until a pointer 5c starts deflecting. A reflecting mirror 12 is moved minutely to the left/right horizontally in this state, and the direction when the pointer 5c of the instrument 5 shows maximum deflection and the azimuth angle is fixed. In adjusting minutely the azimuth angle, even when the pointer 5c shows indication of a part having a narrow scale interval as shown in dotted lines A by chance, when the knob 9a of the attenuator 9 is turned so as to decrease the attenuation by one step, the pointer 5c comes to the central position as shown in solid lines B and ease of reading of the pointer scale is attained. |
