摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent knocking by starting operation with lead angle required for regular oil while leading the ignition timing upon entering into specific operating region to produce knocking and selecting the required lead angle with correspondence to the fuel decided on the basis of the ignition timing at this time point. CONSTITUTION:Lead angle upper limit setting means 5, 6A for setting the lead angles required for regular and high octane fuel on the basis of the outputs from rotation detecting means 2 and fuel supply operating means 4 and high octane fuel lead angle lower limit setting means 6B are provided. While means 10 for deciding the knocking on the basis of the output from a knock sensor 3 is provided to set the correction level of knock control for correcting the required lead angle to the lead angle side through knock control correction level setting means 15 when there is no knocking and apply through control means 20 onto respective lead angle correction means 11, 12. Upon occurrence of knocking, the corrected lead angle is compared with the output from the setting means 6B to switch fuel setting means 19 through switching means 18 in accordance to the comparison results.
