PURPOSE:The titled composition, obtained by incorporating a mercapto compound and alcohol compound with an acrylonitrile based thermoplastic resin, containing reduced remaining unreacted acrylonitrile monomer, and usable for food containers. CONSTITUTION:An acrylonitrile based thermoplastic resin composition, obtained by adding a mercapto compound and alcohol compound to an acrylonitrile based thermoplastic resin. A resin obtained by copolymerizing acrylonitrile with a vinyl monomer in the presence or absence of a rubber-like polymer is used as the above-mentioned resin. The amount of the mercapto compound to be incorporated is 0.01-3pts.wt. based on the resin, and the amount of the alcohol compound to be incorporated is 1/5-10mol alcohol groups based on 1mol mercapto group. |
