Transfer worm conveyors are used in agriculture in the mineral fertilisation and in the sowing of grain. Their function is the dust-free and loss-free transfer of bulk materials from a tippable transport vehicle into a working device standing ready. The transfer worm conveyor, which is built onto a tippable transport vehicle, is brought with the aid of the pivoting flange and of the pivoting frame out of the transport position into the loading position and locked with the clamping claw. The drive takes place via an articulated shaft from the multispline shaft of the traction machine to the multispline shaft of the transfer worm conveyor. The delivery capacity of the transfer worm conveyor can be regulated by the multispline shaft speed of the traction machine.
