<p>PURPOSE:To simplify the mechanism of a tape recorder and to miniaturize the device, by performing the switching operation between the normal position of a magnetic head at which the head makes reproducing and recording operations and lightly touched position at which the magnetic heads is lightly touched with a magnetic tape by means of a single electromagnetic plunger. CONSTITUTION:Engaging section 13 and 14 are formed at the upper section of the lower slide plate 5A of a magnetic head holding plate 5 and a selection member 31 is supported by the upper slide plate 5B. A shaft 16 is coupled with an engaging plate 18 provided with a revolving plate 17 and engaging section 18A and driven by an electromagnetic plunger 19. When the plunger 19 is excited from a stopping condition, the engaging section 18A is engaged with the shallower engaging section 14 and causes the member 5 to move to the reproducing position. When the plunger 19 is further excited under this condition, the engaging section 18A is engaged with the shallower engaging section 13 through the selection member 31 and the member 5 is moved to the lightly touching position. Therefore, switching between both the positions can be made with the single electromagnetic plunger 19 and, as a result, the device can be miniaturized and the recording and reproducing operations can be made separately.</p> |
