The container made of plastic by the vacuum thermoforming method for receiving an ultrasonic transducer has a lid and a trough with holes. The bottom, which is supported with spacing on a base, has two inwardly directed projections with upper recesses for receiving the proximal transducer part and a projection which is likewise provided with an upper recess for receiving the distal transducer probe. Opposite said trough projections, the lid is provided with inwardly directed projections which are placed at the top against the transducer parts in the trough. The two end faces of the trough and of the lid edge are releasably connected to one another by a resilient clamping tab with a hooking nose by the fact that, when the lid is placed on the trough, it deflects the tabs elastically which, due to subsequent springing back, grip over a step in the lid edge. |
