The clamping frame according to the invention is interposed as a special connecting trough between the trough strand of the scraper chain conveyor and the machine frame at the end of the latter. It consists of two box-like frame parts which are guided into one another in a drawer-like fashion and the side cheeks of which have window-like recesses leading to the inside end of the frame part, such that the side cheeks of the two frame parts in the overlap region are each situated in a common vertical plane and are extended to the full height of the side cheeks. Preferably a catch mechanism or the like is arranged between the two frame parts of the clamping frame, which catch mechanism mechanically locks the frame parts together in the respective clamping position.
